Story
Southern soul,
cut on film.
Elijah Dax makes soul music that sounds like the South after dark: slow, warm, a little haunted. The records feel found rather than made, half-remembered melodies pulled through tape hiss and tungsten light, with a voice that sits somewhere between the church and the back seat of a car.
He has been releasing since ILWY in 2019, followed by the EP Essential, for Now and a run of singles through Waiting, Case For You and Late Late Night. Along the way his voice has turned up on records by Junia-T, Nate Rose, Manwell, Phil McClain and YGTUT. The newest single, all ur luv, arrived in March 2026.
